Support for organic product marketing initiatives

NODA Pacifique was commissioned by the Bio Fetia Association, the participatory guarantee system for the Bio Pasifika label in French Polynesia, to implement part of the project supporting organic product marketing systems in New Caledonia and French Polynesia.

In New Caledonia, NODA Pacifique supported Coop1, a fruit and vegetable marketing cooperative. This included strengthening the cooperative's upstream operations by expanding its network of member producers, improving production planning in coordination with downstream stakeholders, and recruiting new producers. At the same time, NODA Pacifique supported the structuring of the organic beef value chain in New Caledonia. This involved identifying the needs of downstream stakeholders and addressing the marketing requirements for organic beef production in 2023. The work also included identifying key stakeholders, the resources required, and potential funding options to support the development of the value chain.

In French Polynesia, the GAB of Raiatea was supported by DAI Consulting, which coordinated the regional project. The project was funded under the PROTEGE programme, implemented by SPC and financed by the European Union.
