Founded in 2021, NODA Pacifique is a consulting firm specializing in the agriculture and environment sectors. Based in La Foa, at the heart of New Caledonia's main agricultural region, NODA Pacifique provides tailored, locally grounded support to a wide range of public and private stakeholders across the Pacific region.
Our activities are organized around three complementary areas: food systems, climate change, and the social and solidarity economy. We provide support services to businesses, cooperatives, and associations, as well as assistance with supply chain and organizational structuring, stakeholder consultation, facilitation, and project management.
NODA Pacifique's team consists of two consultants from New Caledonia.
Chloé Fontfreyde, consultant with 9 years of experience, agricultural engineer specialized in the sustainable development of agricultural value chains, graduate of the National School of Agronomy and Food Industries of Nancy, accredited trainer by the DFPC, and founder of NODA Pacifique.
Jenny Dubois de Montreynaud is a junior consultant holding a Master’s degree from the University of New Caledonia in Sustainability Sciences, with a specialization in Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability in the South Pacific, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Otago in New Zealand in Applied Sciences majoring in Environmental Management, and Entrepreneurship.
Our team regularly collaborates with specialist consultants in their respective fields, combining strong sector-specific expertise with an in-depth understanding of local contexts. NODA Pacifique's network notably includes SCIC Tero, a consulting cooperative based in Lyon dedicated to rural development and accredited as a “socially responsible enterprise serving the public interest” (ESUS), of which Chloé has been a member since 2017. NODA Pacifique also works in partnership with the Institut de la Qualité and other local and regional consulting firms.
NODA Pacifique adopts an integrated approach, combining technical expertise, strategic studies and operational support. Beyond delivering analyses, our objective is to support our clients in the practical implementation of our recommendations, ensuring their effectiveness and long-term ownership.
We place particular emphasis on capturing and sharing the outcomes of our assignments. Each project is designed to produce tools, methods, and knowledge that can be directly used by the stakeholders involved, with a focus on autonomy and capacity building. Our distinctiveness lies in our strong commitment alongside our clients, with a results-driven approach and continuous involvement throughout the projects.
NODA Pacifique builds on close relationships with local agricultural stakeholders. We ensure that the constraints, practices and expertise of field professionals are fully taken into account in order to develop practical, context-specific solutions. This approach also fosters dialogue among stakeholders and contributes to a better shared understanding of the challenges involved.
Enfin, NODA Pacifique propose des conditions d’intervention et tarifs adaptés aux associations et aux organisations professionnelles des secteurs de l’agriculture et de l’environnement, afin de soutenir les initiatives à fort impact territorial.

NODA is inspired by the Latin word nodus, meaning "knot." The name reflects our ambition to serve as a point of connection and understanding between stakeholders: farmers, fishers, livestock producers, public institutions, support organizations, processors, distributors and consumers. Our approach is to build strong, lasting connections by combining a broad strategic vision with close engagement in the field. We support the development of value chains and organizations through solutions tailored to each context and stakeholder. Unlocking barriers, creating connections and fostering sustainable development pathways—this is the mission that drives NODA Pacifique today.
